La presencia latina de Berklee College of Music en el Seminario Internacional de Jazz, con cuatro de los principales docentes, músicos de nivel internacional, el mexicano Víctor Mendoza considerado uno de los mejores vibrafonista en el mundo y con màs de veinte años de experiencia como docente en el Departamento de Percusión. Oscar Stagnaro originario de Lima, Perú, docente del Departamento de Bajo y bajista de Paquito D'Rivera entre otros importantes músicos de jazz. Bernardo Hernández, Venezolano con una trayectoria de màs de 15 años como docente del Departamento de Composición Contemporánea y reconocido prestigio internacional como arreglista, director de orquesta, bajista y guitarrista, además Matt Marvuglio Dean del Professional Performance Division del BCM, flautista, compositor, arreglista, docente de reconocido prestigio internacional.
El Seminario ofrece una oportunidad única a los participantes de entrar en contacto con las metodologías màs actuales en la educación del jazz, impartidas por algunos de los mejores maestros de "la escuela" de jazz en el mundo.

The best players will be selected to participate in the Panamerican Big Band conducted by Bernardo Hernandez, Big Band that be performing at the closing concert of the JAZZFEST and at the next Expo Sound Check in Mexico city.
